Fancy drinking and dining with world-famous classical performer Aled Jones on a swanky new river cruise ship? Of course you do!

Doing much in June? Fancy a European river cruise in the company of world-famous classical performer Aled Jones MBE?

To celebrate the launch of APT’s Travelmarvel Contemporary Ships this year, classical singer and presenter Aled Jones MBE will be joining the maiden voyage and offering guests two days of exclusive events. How exciting!

Departing from Amsterdam on 11 June, APT’s eight-day ‘Legends of the Rhine and Moselle with Aled Jones’ river cruise will give guests the one-off opportunity to chat and dine with Aled.

You’ll be able to listen to his entertaining biography, receive a personal signed copy of his new live album and enjoy an exclusive, private performance from the classical music legend himself.

APT river ships enable you to discover quaint villages, lush countryside and hidden gems

Custom designed specifically for Europe’s waterways, Travelmarvel Contemporary Ships Polaris, Capella and Vega feature modern decor and spacious public areas thanks to the two-and-a-half deck design.

Facilities include a rooftop garden and bar, plus an inviting heated whirlpool which you may end up sharing with Aled Jones when he’s not doing meet-and-greets.

There’s plenty of opportunity to stay active in the fitness room, and on the putting green and walking track. Bicycles are also available on board and are free to use for onshore excursions.

Staterooms and suites feature an en suite bathroom and personal climate control; great storage; queen or twin bedding with plush linen; plus a TV, safe and mini-fridge. Owner’s Suites and French Balcony suites also feature blackout blinds and electronic windows that slide down to form a French balcony.

You’ll also enjoy more drinking and dining options on the new ships, whether you’re craving a four-course meal in the fine dining restaurant, a more relaxed pub-style setting such as McGeary’s Bar, something a little lighter in the Lounge or an aperitif at the Sky Deck Bar.

The eight-day Aled Jones cruise from Amsterdam to Basel costs from £1,745 per person. This includes return scheduled flights or Eurostar rail from the UK, seven nights cruising on a brand new Travelmarvel river ship, daily breakfasts, dinners and six lunches.

There’s also complimentary soft drinks, beer and local wine with lunch and dinner, the services of a Travelmarvel Cruise Director and local guides.

If you’re into classical music, this is one definitely not to be missed!
