Relight Our Fire! Gary Barlow to Perform on P&O Ships For Kids’ Charities
Gary Barlow is to perform on P&O Cruises’ newest ship Arvia and sister ship Ioana this Spring promising guests ‘a night they’ll never forget’.
The Take That frontman will do two exclusive performances on each ship and all proceeds from the tickets sales for the shows will be donated to Child Bereavement UK and the Teenager Cancer Trust.
The special performances follow sell-out shows last year as part of his role as music director of The 710 Club on Arvia and Iona. Now he will appear on a Spain, Portugal and Canary Islands cruise on Iona, departing Southampton on 18 March and a Mediterranean cruise on P&O Cruises’ Arvia, departing Southampton on 30 April.
Music has been such a massive part of my life – and taken me on so many journeys and adventures,’ says Gary. ‘After some incredible shows with P&O Cruises last year, I can’t wait to perform on Arvia and Iona in 2023 and pass these experiences on to all the guests.’

Gary is one of Britain’s most successful songwriters and record producers, selling more than 45 million records with Take That and winning eight BRIT Awards. He has also co-written and produced music for other artists including Shirley Bassey, Elton John and former Take That band member Robbie Williams.
Gary was a judge on The X-Factor and the 710 Club, which was crafted to his creative vision, offers up-and-coming musicians a chance to get their break.
The Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity providing life-changing services, care and support for people aged 13-24 so they don’t have to face cancer alone.
Child Bereavement UK supports families and educates professionals both when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, and when a child is facing bereavement.
